Raluca Ocneanu, the festival’s artistic coordinator, shared at the conclusion of this edition:
“There were strong emotions! We had very talented children. I noticed they already pay attention to their appearance and stage movement. Of course, there is still work to be done on choosing the competition repertoire. A powerful song doesn’t always guarantee success. But we were pleased that different genres were brought to the stage, from hip-hop to musicals, famous Romanian songs, and musical couplets. It is a difficult job, and the desire to win this festival’s trophy is proven by the current winner, who came back year after year, sometimes winning prizes or mentions, and even though she had an enviable track record, she still wanted to win our trophy. That is what it means to be a true artist! I want to thank my colleagues at the Popular School of Arts and especially Mr. Claudiu Dosaru, director of the “Acad. Eugen Simion” County Cultural Center, who has always supported us and helped make this edition spectacular. I can’t believe next year we will celebrate 10 years of existence! A dream has come true, and I hope this festival continues to bring new names who will become well-known artists with brilliant careers!”
