Winner of the Sanremo Junior competition in 2016, Raisandra is now only 13 years old and has a remarkable talent. The song she performed was a heartfelt dedication to her father, who left when she was very young and whom she misses deeply.
“I’m a singer, model, actress, and dancer, and I’ve won several competitions,” said Raisandra, who also shared that she sang while thinking of her father.
“Wherever you are, Dad, I want you to be healthy and happy with your family,” she said.
The emotion expressed by the young girl was felt not only by the judges but also by the audience at home, who voted for her via the Antena 1 app and sent her to the Popularity Final of the tenth season of Next Star.
As for the Grand Final, the judges decided to award a spot to a young dancer. Carla Munteanu presented a contemporary dance performance that captivated judges Loredana, Dorian Popa, and Ștefan Bănică.
“The way you were standing there… wow! You didn’t just move me, you destroyed me!” said Dorian Popa to little Carla.
The tenth season of “Next Star” continues Saturday at 8:00 PM on Antena 1, when host Dan Negru will bring forward brave and talented children who will amaze the audience and judges—Loredana, Ștefan Bănică, and Dorian Popa—with their incredible abilities or challenge them with clever remarks. The young contestants will try to impress the jury and qualify for the Grand Final, where the “Next Star” trophy and a prize of €20,000 are up for grabs.
