Singer Raisa, from Hollywood to the Mamaia Festival! What a major achievement for her, at only 16 years old.

Friday, August 23, 2024, marks the debut of the 61st edition of the Mamaia Light Music Festival. Among the qualified contestants is Raisa Ariana Andra Dinu, a rising star in Romanian music. At just 16 years old, the young artist boasts an impressive list of musical awards. Her most notable performance took place in Hollywood, where she said “YES” to a grand project.
Raisa Adriana Andra Dinu stepped into the spotlight at just 8 years old. In addition to music, she also does modeling—two passions she has beautifully combined. At the age of 8, Raisa took the stage for the first time at the Sanremo Junior Festival in Italy and went home with the grand trophy. Shortly after, she was named World Vocal Champion at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, USA.

Although music is now a major focus in her career, Raisa hasn’t given up on modeling and has made her mark at some of the most prestigious fashion events: fashion weeks in Milan, Dubai, Paris, Cannes, and Spain. Earlier this year, Raisa participated in “Diamond Fashion Week” in Dubai, where she walked the runway for renowned designers and also performed alongside local stars.
“The Diamond Fashion Week event took place in a stunning venue on the 73rd floor of the SLS Hotel in Dubai, with a spectacular view. I encountered important designers from Dubai, Poland, Romania, Syria, London, Iraq, Zimbabwe, Lithuania, Algeria, as well as renowned singers, and I had a dual experience—both as a model and as a musical artist. I was thrilled to sing on the same stage as top artists from Dubai and to receive so much appreciation! As a model, I presented for seven acclaimed designers, including Cătălin Botezatu and Walid Atallah,” Raisandra revealed.
Currently, Raisa is preparing to conquer the stage at the 2024 Mamaia Festival. The 16-year-old has been selected among the 10 contestants representing the country at the Mamaia Light Music Festival, taking place from August 23–25. Starting today, August 23, at 7:00 PM, the artist will perform on the grand stage at Piațeta Perla in the Mamaia resort. Over the two nights of the show, five contestants (of the 10) will perform from each section: interpretation and creation. The 16-year-old is competing in the interpretation section—dedicated to young light music performers aged 16 to 30. The 61st edition of the light music contest will be broadcast live on TVR2.
